George was a relatively early adopter of Bitcoin, discovering the technology at the start of 2011 and later diversifying into the alt-coin market. His particular interest, since its inception, has been Ethereum and soon after the Ether crowdsale, he co-founded the NOMAN meetup (named as a nod towards the then hypothetical world of Ethereum DAO‘s). The meetup soon become one of London’s most popular blockchain events and it put George at the heart of the UK’s emerging blockchain scene. With a background in marketing, and with many years of explaining blockchain technology to the uninitiated, George started doing the rounds with banks and other corporates. He took seminars, sat on panels and met interested investors one on one. This led to an offer to head up Kryptonite1 plc, currently the world's only publicly listed blockchain company, specialising in the ICO or ‘cryptographic asset’ market. Kryptonite1 takes part in promising token based projects as they conduct their crowdsales, but ultimately looks to support projects before their initial coin offering takes place.
