Eddy Travia is a pioneer investor in blockchain technology startups and the CEO of Coinsilium, a blockchain-focused accelerator that finances and manages the development of early-stage blockchain technology companies firm. Coinsilium shares are traded on NEX Exchange in London (NEX:COIN).
In July 2013, Eddy co-founded the world’s first global incubator of digital currency startups (Seedcoin) and, in May 2014, was named among the ‘Top three Most Influential Investors’ at the Blockchain Awards along with Marc Andreessen and Roger Ver.
Coinsilium has invested in 15 companies of the blockchain ecosystem around the world, including Factom, SatoshiPay, RSK Labs and Magnr.
Prior to his inroads into blockchain, Eddy has been managing private equity investment funds in China since 2004 and completed the Stanford Financial Engineering program in Hong Kong.
